Straight answers

Questions worth asking.

Practical answers for people evaluating AI-assisted systems engineering.

Is RiotFleet another AI chatbot?

No. RiotFleet is an infrastructure control system intended to connect AI-assisted operations to managed Linux nodes, with permissions and evidence around supported actions.

Does an AI get unrestricted root access?

No. Administrative operations must be explicitly authorized through configured identities and capabilities. The phrase “Your AI just got root” describes the ambition, not an anonymous or unlimited permission grant.

Do I have to move to a new cloud provider?

No. RiotFleet is designed to work with infrastructure you already operate. Supported systems and enrollment requirements depend on release and must be confirmed during evaluation.

What do I install?

Connect a supported AI assistant through the Fleet Control plugin. Each authorized Linux machine needs a Fleet agent (Component 00) and the supporting software required by its release. A Fleet controller checks and routes requests. Setup and permissions are reviewed together for a guided pilot; installing a plugin alone does not grant root access.

Which AI assistants and Linux versions are supported?

We confirm compatibility for each proposed pilot rather than advertise a blanket support list. Tell us your AI platform, Linux distributions and versions, hardware architecture, network setup, and requested tasks. We will distinguish what has been tested from what still needs integration.

Is early access self-service?

Early access currently starts with a guided conversation, not a universal one-click installer or instant customer enrollment. We'll review the supported software, permissions, and pilot requirements before making commitments.

Can I run a pilot today?

Contact us to discuss current readiness, supported environments, security requirements and pilot scope. We cannot promise every feature or environment is ready for immediate deployment.

Does this replace my engineers?

It's designed to make technical operators more effective, not remove accountability. Human judgment, scoped authority and verification remain central to infrastructure changes.

How much does it cost?

Pricing and commercial packages are not yet publicly listed. Tell us what you manage and what you want to automate, and we'll discuss whether a suitable early-access engagement is available.
